As we inch closer to the end of one of the worst years any of us have endured, I’ve been thinking about what good has shone through — our resiliency, hopefulness and willingness to help one another out.
It’s been a tough year for breweries, with many barely hanging on as they’ve lost entire distribution channels, including bars and taprooms, and a few deciding to turn off the lights for good. Even so, there are new breweries in the pipeline in various stages of planning. You have to love that enthusiasm and passion that keeps them pressing on, hoping to be the next big thing in brewing. And why not? That’s exactly how every great brewery came into being: through perseverance, dedication and an unwavering confidence.
